ToH Age of Rebellion
A former escort pilot for a small mining operation, Lop fell in with the Rebellion when he unexpectedly found him and his charge in the middle a dogfight between Hutt smugglers and an Imperial TIE squadron. With both sides deploying lasers and ordinance indiscriminately, his slow and lightly armored charge was destroyed in crossfire. Lop had no choice but to shoot his way out, leaving the remains of TIE fighters and Z-95s in wake, making enemies of both the Hutt gangs and the empire in the process. His Arc-170 was badly damaged in his escape and he plotted a course for the outer rim, where he hoped to get clean tags before his involvement in the firefight would be widely known. But Lop had never been that lucky.
In exchange for the price of the repairs on his ship, a new registration, and not telling either the Huts or the Empire he was working for them, Lop signed a contract with Red Waldon, a young mercenary company known for highly aggressive and legally grey operations. The company held his newly repaired Arc-170 while Lop took gunner seat in YT-2600. After two years of dogfights, raids, and even blaster engagements within his ships own corridors, Red Waldon had become too ambitious too quickly and had as many enemies as credits. It was just before dawn when Imperial bombers leveled half Red Waldon’s Base of Operations. The initial bombing run missed the hanger where his Arc-170 was docked. He took to the sky and ran. With no credits, no company, and wanted by the Empire, Lop went looking for the rebellion.
